Dumbbell Arnold Press
- Reps
- 8–12
- Kit
- Dumbbell
How to do it
- 1
Sit or stand tall holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height — elbows bent, palms facing toward you.
- 2
Breathe out as you press the dumbbells up and rotate your palms to face forward at the top — arms fully straight overhead.
- 3
Breathe in as you lower them back down and rotate your palms back to face you.
- 4
That's one rep — the rotation is the key part. Repeat.
Where you should feel it: The fronts and sides of your shoulders.
What your coach says mid-set
- “Palms start facing you”
