How to do it
- 1
Hold the kettlebell upside down by the handles.
- 2
Circle it slowly around your head.

- “Circle the bell close to your head”
- “Body stays tall and still”
- “Breathe out as it passes behind”
Common mistakes
Leaning to make room for the bell
Stand tall and still. Move the bell around your head, not your head around the bell.
Flaring your elbows wide
Keep your elbows in close so the bell circles right around your head.
Holding your breath
Keep breathing through the circle. Breathe out as the bell passes behind your head.
Felt it somewhere else?
Where did you feel it?
Felt it in your neck or shoulders
Go lighter and make the circle smaller. Your neck stays long, no shrugging as the bell passes behind.
Felt it in your lower back
Keep your ribs down as the bell goes behind your head. If you arch to make room, go lighter.
